Little known to tourists, the Rio Térraba pier in Ciudad Cortes is nevertheless worth the detour if you are looking for typical places of great beauty at sunset. You can get there like most locals by bike, after having visited the center of Cortés, and discover the historic road leading to Puerto Jimenez. A Taxi Boat can take you across to the other bank to reach Sierpe via the palm groves.
