Want to take a nice refreshing bath? Head to Cascada El Pavon, about twenty kilometers from Uvita, a little south of Ojochal. The waterfall, rather small, stands out for its atypical appearance. Indeed, we can observe a stone balancing between the two rocks which channel the waterfall. How did she come to stay there? Mystery... In any case, the image is worth a look!
At the bottom of the waterfall, you can swim in a delicious natural pool. And she's not the only one! Numerous pools ideal for swimming wind along the path leading to the waterfall. Again, it is preferable to favor weekday mornings if you want to avoid crowds. If you're feeling a little hungry, don't hesitate to try the famous tillapia at the Tillapia Restaurante, located just a stone's throw away. From the restaurant, you will also have access to a trail taking you directly to one of the oldest and largest Ceiba trees in Costa Rica. In short, a great activity if you are in the area.
